The Mercury Travel Club by Helen Bridgett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Travel Mercury Club is the author's debut novel and what a refreshing and hilarious story is it.

This certainly a very entertaining laugh out loud feel good story about grabbing life by the horns and taking a second chance. I always say you only live once and this story totally reflects that when we meet Angie who I have to say I adored. After twenty fours years of marriage Angie finds herself divorced and facing a future with of cats and cardigans. But her best friend Patty is having none of it and soon helps her out. Then the adventures begin.

I love the friendship between Angie and Patty...we all have that one best friend in life. And that is exactly how their friendship is.

It has plenty of references to the 80’s especially the music so if you are a big 80's fan like myself you will love it.

I loved the use of the short chapters making it an easy read where I found myself whizzing through this story. Now I can't wait to find out what happens next.

This is without a doubt a perfect summer read that will have you hooked from start to finish.Which I highly recommend giving it 4 stars.
